Samsung Mobile Solution Forum 2006 to kick off
Samsung Electronics Co. will hold its third annual “Samsung Mobile Solution 2006″ in Taipei, Taiwan, tomorrow.Hwang Chang-gyu, head of Samsung’s semiconductor business, and other key officials in the company’s semiconductor and liquid crystal display businesses will participate, the company said.
Around 1,000 IT businesspeople from Taiwan-based personal digital assistant/mobile handset makers and original design manufacturers will also participate in the one-day tech event.
Seven rounds of seminars on display, memory, mobile CPU, camera solutions and display device integrated circuit solutions are planned for the afternoon sessions.
Samsung will showcase a total of five mobile/semiconductor solutions and new core, next-generation mobile gadgets, the company said.
Taiwan-based IT companies, including HTC, MiTac, LiteOn and Tom Tom, will showcase new personal digital assistants, smart phones and navigation devices topped with Samsung’s mobile solutions.
Using the mobile event as a platform, Samsung intends to make its mobile forum more widely known to global solution makers and customers, the company said.
