RIM gears up for China launch
Canadian vendor and maker of the BlackBerry device, Research In Motion (RIM), is aiming to launch into China by mid-year.
Reports claim that talks with leading mobile provider, China Mobile, are going very well and that a deal to introduce the BlackBerry is on the cards, possibly in the second half of the year.
Last month, the company to pay US-based rival NTP $612.5m (ВЈ350m) to settle a four year legal dispute which had threatened to shut down the BlackBerry service in the US.
