Revenues were also up 34 per cent year on year to $1.83bn as the company shipped a record number of chips for the third consecutive quarter.
Approximately 49 million Mobile Station Modem (MSM) chips were shipped to customers worldwide during the quarter, compared to approximately 37 million units in the same period last year.
