Mobile Gamers Compete For Beauty Queen

An interactive role play mobile game in Malaysia has players competing for dinner with a real beauty queen.

Malaysian mobile game company, Ozura Mobile and mobile application service provider, Nextnation, have joined forces to provide a live and highly interactive mobile game competition. The game creators claim that this is the first ever ‘live’ mobile game as it has uniquely introduced a time-based element to the contest.

Gamers role play at being the genuine Malaysian beauty queen, Gloria Ting. At the end of each game, players then have the option to upload their scores to a specially created Beauty Queen gaming web and wapsite and are then able to check their game ranking via the internet or WAP.

The game is structured into three heats culminating in the grand finals in seven months time, with each heat there will be a new more challenging version of the game with the Grand Finals being held in October 2006.

The top 3 winners of each heat will get to compete live in a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur. A total of RM25,000 in cash prizes is being offered, plus a supervised dinner with Miss Ting for the overall winner.
