KDDI profits down in 2005

Japanese operator KDDI took a hit on profits during the fiscal year ended March 31, which sank to Y145bn (ВЈ705m) from Y171bn a year ago.

However, operating revenues for the year increased to Y2.5tn, from Y2.3tn in the year-ago period. EBITDA also rose to Y605bn from Y548bn in the year ago period.
