Helio adds Yahoo services to portfolio

Internet firm Yahoo! today announced a partnership with US 3G mobile virtual network provider (MVNO) Helio, for the delivery of Yahoo! services via mobile.

The move will give Helio members access to services such as Yahoo! Search, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! News and Yahoo! Sports.

Helio, which is a joint venture between US service provider Earthlink and Korean operator SK Telecom, will launch in the US this spring.
